We are just three guys (Joe, Matt and Ben) that grew up in Indiana with a passion for computers and software. We all met in college pursuing a Computer Programming degree. After college we went our separate ways. Joe got a job for a small software firm in Chicago. Matt went on to work for a Fortune 500 software development company located in the infamous Silicon Valley. And Ben went to work for that huge, global company that ends in ’soft’.
During this time we all kept in touch with out stories of our personal life, working for the ‘man’ and of course trading the latest tech news. One day Matt mentioned that he had made some friends outside of work and that they started asking him tons of questions about what kind of software to use to protect their computers.
When Matt told us this a light bulb went off. We all had run into lots of people asking the same questions. After some discussion we decided why don’t we use our expertise to put together a site that reviews the latest spyware blockers and which ones we like the best. This way when someone asks us we can refer them to the site. And this is how this site was born!
